The pickleball playerwas born on March 18, 1999 as Benjamin Ellingham Johns in Laytonsville, Maryland, USA.He was born as one of seven children to his parents, Heather and Mark.His father works as a software designer while his mother is a primary school teacher.His older brother, Collin, is also a professional pickleball player with whom Ben also partnered.

Additionally, his sister Hannah Johns is a Pickleball Sports Reporter and TV Journalist on the PPA Tour.She has not provided information about her four siblings over hers.She also has American nationality and belongs to the white Caucasian ethnicity.He was homeschooled along with all of his siblings who had passed through Estero, Florida..After finishing his studies, he joined the University of Maryland, where he chose to play pickleball in 2016 as a profession.

Career:

Since his childhood, he has shown his ability in different sports including tennis and baseball.However,he began his professional Pickleball career in 2016 at the age of 17 in Floridaand placed 5th in the Men’s Pro Singles at the US Open Pickleball Championships.Shortly after, he won three gold medals at the Canadian Nationals.During his professional career, he has more than 50 gold medals, including 11 triple crowns in all three events (singles, doubles and mixed doubles).

In addition to his professional pickleball career, he launched Pickleball Gateways with fellow professional pickleball player Dekel Bar in 2019.
