Back to School Event!

It's time to hit those skill books once again! Join us and your Visitor classmates - new and old - in the Canyon City of Zant for some studying, testing, homework, and exam fun! Talk to NPC Judy to get your classes started: test your knowledge and win some valuable rewards to use in this Back to School Season!

Use your math skills, science prowess, geography knowledge, and even your P.E. stamina to earn some cool Off-hand school supplies such as Pencils, Crayons, Rulers, and much more!

Like last year, special Chemistry Boxes will be dropping in all zones during the event. For those of you who have completed your Final Exams, Judy is looking for all the school spirit she can find. If you can collect a hundred for her, she will give you an exclusive event mount.

Better hurry, the Back to School Event is only going to last until September 4, 2012 so join us for our academic fun! We're also going to have Exclusive Item Mall Backpacks for sell too for fit your fun school outfits!

The Ballroom Event will be turned off.

Mounts

• Increased All Mounts Movement Speed by 250, except the Choropy.

Sea of Dawn

• Increased the Judgment Sword spawn frequency from 10 seconds to 15 seconds.
• Increased initial time to complete Sea of Dawn from 15 to 20 minutes.

Cave of Ulverick

• The Exalted dungeon monsters have been updated with proper stats. Previously they were stat'ed as the ones in the normal dungeon.

Client Enhancements

• Added "Allow Window Resizing" option to the Options window to lock/unlock the window frame resize feature.

Bug Fixes

• Corrected the new gem effect points for the launcher and added the new launcher handle.
• Corrected gem effects not displaying for several Sea of Dawn weapons.
• The PvM Bonuses for Sea of Dawn Gloves has been corrected.
• Corrected an issue where gems did not have a value when selling to an NPC.
• Corrected a bug which would cause EXP to be distributed more than once per group/party member.\
• Corrected position synchronization issues and visual glitch which would cause drivers of PAT and mounts to disappear when colliding with objects.
• Corrected a crash which would occur due to the order that passenger and driver of a PAT vehicle are removed from the map. This would commonly cause a player who left a map while in the presence of a passenger/driver (where the passenger first entered the map before the driver) to crash.
• Added Movement Speed as a tool-tip for mounts.
• Fixed a crash that would occur if the users consumable tab was full and they attempted to place a mount from their item mall into their inventory.

You seriously only left the ballroom up for one week? You didn't even give us time to farm for the lacrima to get all the items. Good job.

Not even a whole week... last maint was on friday.

Corrected a bug which would cause EXP to be distributed more than once per group/party member.

Well, that was fun while it lasted.

The Ballroom event is recycled so much that it doesn't even last for a week anymore.

Yeah, kind of messed up how the Ballroom event lasted only like 4 days.

There was a ballroom event? I even didn't notice it. Now it's gone.

I wasn't even able to get the quest to get my Leopold wears, so all I got was a crappy Felice wear.
Edit: 3 stacks of Lacrima are just going to rot away in my storage for eternity now.

That's not the point. I bought all of that lacrima just so that I could get the Leopolds when they were available so I didn't have to spend 500m on each of them.
Seriously 4 days? You could have at least warned us that it was that short.

A lot of changes were made to the ballroom event to make it something we could have on for just a weekend or even just one evening!

Back in the day it was a once a year deal - if even that.

Still we do apologize that it was activated so late, and we should hopefully have a chance to reactivate it again in the near future. Unfortunately due to the nature of this event (and most others) it cannot run at the same time as anything else.

Bug Fixes

• Corrected an issue where gems did not have a value when selling to an NPC.

Blades (Metal, Dark, Beam, etc.) also have no NPC value. Is this a bug or intentional?

Luckily I already had stacks of left over lacrima from the last event and stacks of all those ballroom scrolls but seeing how I have everything the ballroom event has to offer already they are pointless now.

I actually did read it that way at first I had to re-read it lol - sleep deprivation.

Unfortunately due to the nature of this event (and most others) it cannot run at the same time as anything else.

back to school already ended? i cant start the quest. i thought its until sept.4

Sorry, this only affected Leonis due to the server issues over the weekend. Things should be working normally now.
