I like rugs and I love old oriental rugs! I love the smell when I step into a lot of old rug stores. But J&J surprised me on two counts. Not so much smell (slighty musty old wool) and a much larger percentage of really great rugs.
You see, I am accustomed to having to search through piles of rugs to come up with a few interesting rugs, but Joshua and Joseph have an amazing selection of really nice and interesting rugs in their shop! I was overwhelmed a bit on my first visit.
Easy to say, I have a new favorite rug store. My wife and I went in looking for a rug to go in our dining room/area. We came up with a few choices and talked with Joseph about them. We then left to sleep on our choice… When we returned two days later, Joseph said that he had a couple of other rugs that we should look at. WOW! He had picked two others out that suited our wishes even better. It took me only a minute to see that one of the pair was “just right”! And it still is weeks later, just looking so good there! Yah, I have a new favorite rug store. I sure do!
